After the inicial teardown and instepection, much of the framing ( 2" x 4" wood) had to be removed and replaced. A portion of the wall sheathing was infected by termites. This required a treatment and replacement of the infected section.
The flooring was completely redone with AdvanTech panels. Engineered with the moisture-resistant resins to protect against the damaging effects of weather during construction and over time.
Older homes of this nature/area in the USA have no insulation. Bathroom was upgraded with Owens Cornoing Ecotough PINK R-19 insulation.
